We need urgent support for this!
Already 3 customers (companies) are experiencing this problem (sinds September, approximately).
It only happens with CITRIX XENAPP servers.
OS: Windows Server 2008 R2.
It occurs with SEP Version 12.1.6 build 6168 and build 6318
Different versions of Internet Explorer are affected. (9, 11,.. different revisions)
No matter what IPS definitions we select (even with Proactive Threat protection DISABLED).
IExplore.exe suddenly stops working, and stays blocked, until we change de IPS definitions.
The Module causing the crash is always a IPS dll, for example:
C:\ProgramData\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.6168.6000.105\Data\Definitions\IPSDefs\20151113.012_bb6\IPSEng32.dll
The older IPS definitions are more stable (last longer), but the problem still re-occurs at random.
