I have around 150 clients to deploy SEP and to that need to go to each PC and manually install the agent. Other option include either Altiris or other 3rd party software to push the same. I was told to deploy it using a subnet search and then select all the PCs and click on deploy. The challenge with that is there are printers, scanner and other devices like Biometric and it throws error with each install. I am not able to track whether the credential is wrong or the device is not a PC.
There is one more screen in Symantec where all the PCs with Windows version is shown but there I can't right click and say Install as that option is not available. It would be easier from Administrative point of view in case that oiption is available then deployment would be lot more easier.
I am still managing as the number of PCs are less but it would be crucial when it is in thousands and would save lot of time of Administrators.
