Just logged a call with the "Follow the Sun" helpdesk, as we were getting many malware emails containing *.rtf attachements
coming through to our company user Clients.
SEP 12 did not alert us and I was asking why, if these files are in the latest release, 1 file example below that I checked with the Symantec tracking service.
If Email tracking is switched on (Which it is) we should have had notification or /and a message warning our clients inserted into the rogue emails.
After 2 days and testing in the helpdesk "LAB" I was then shown http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH95093
Which tells me that " Internet email scanning is not supported for 64-bit computers."
Really! 99% of our machines are unable to have internet email scanning?
And the document is dated 2013!! as the majority of machines in most environments are 64bit, do you not think it is time to get this supported?
