We recently found that Dell Smartcard readers and fingerprint scanners are not compatible with Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition. It used to be compatible, but evidently changes on the Symantec end has changed that. Luckily we don't use either, so it isn't a problem at this time. It would be nice if there was a way to still use them.
When trying to install Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition.cloud we get an error that Dell Embassy Trust Suite is installed. The workaround is to disable the smartcard reader in Device Manager.
