My idea is to implement a service in the portal to be able to view hourly (or half hourly) domain queue snapshots to be able to actively prevent a potential mail outage before it becomes a major issue.
At the moment, we have a system set up to receive a call if the domain queue goes beyond a certain threshold (50 mails). This is usually a good indication that there is an issue with our mail server, possibly the transport service has stopped, or there is another issue. The problem is the call is not always received or something else prevents the call from getting through. A portal service would be another way of obtaining this domain queue information to see where the problem might lie
If this could be integrated in the portal somehow, I could quickly check without using valuable time waiting for an agent to assist and check for domain queue thresholds.
