Hi All,
Understand that there are currently no tools that we can use that export the Firewall Rules into a readable format without using SEP.
Currently we can only either export the firewall rule as .dat file but that can only be read after importing into SEPM and only readable using SEPM; or we copy the rules and paste it into an Excel Spreadsheet directly but some of the columns are gibberish machine language and a lot of manual work required to reorganized the data.
Can we suggest that Symantec take into consideration that in future release to have a function that allow SEPM Administrators to export Firewall Rules directly into a .csv or .txt file so that it can be easily readable and easily exported for review ?
The objective we are trying to achieve here is to export the firewall rules out in a readable format without using SEPM, and without the need to manually reorganize the data.
This would be very useful for a large environments with a lot a Client Groups and frequently need to review the firewall rules without using SEPM.
