Currently within the Admin | Install Packages | Client Install Settings area of the Endpoint Protection Manager, I am unable to reordered the list and unable to set another package to be the 'default' setting package.
Please consider allowing an option to reorder this list as well as the ability to set another package as "Default".
The current "Default Client Installation Settings" package doesn't allow editing and it defaults into the Clients | Add a client | Client Deployment Wizard | Install Settings option, which is not the package that I want to show up by default. The drop-down list allows a user to pick Client Installation Settings option, but I would prefer to default in my own custom Install Settings package so that the "Default Client Installation Settings" package is not accidently used.
I understand the need to have a permanent/locked Client Installation Settings package but it would also be beneficial for me to be able to alter the name of this package so that I could change to say something like "Do Not Use", so that the staff did not accidently pick this option. An alternative to the ‘package name edit’ would be allow me to set it to not show up in the list of Installation options when building a new Client Install Package.
To summarize:
Allow a re-order option for the list of Client Install Settings packages.
Allow a specific package to be set as Default.
Allow the "Default Client Installation Settings" package to be hidden and or for the name to be changed (So I could call it something like “Do Not Use”).
