We have observed that currently SEPM is not purging the IP/MAC detected through unmanaged detector.
We request you to add some logic to purge these detected machines as some of the guest user which do not belongs to our network are detected and they are never getting deleted from unmanned client detector report. This impacts overall database hygienic.
Also there are no reports other than dashboard / notification for unmanaged detector and when number of unmanaged machine increases dashboard and SMTP notification both doesn't help to extract the reports.
One more point here is to capture OS detail based on OS finger print which all the leading products are giving (Like EPO) is missing in SEPM. We request to build the logic to identify OS of unmanaged clients based on TTL or some other logic which do not required username/ password of source machine. This will help administrator to take call for installing or removing that particular machine out of network.
As of now exclusion of unmanaged detector is based on IP range or MAC address and we cannot import the list directly. in large network like us we have almost 3.5 K + routers and many other devices which are not on windows and we need to exclude them from all the unmanaged detector, we request your to build logic through which we can automate this task as this is more time consuming along with it this will lead the manual error while excluding MAC.
