Administrators of the SEPM need to be able to set a threshold of available space that the SEPM checks for BEFORE initiating a Client upgrade, and reporting that devices did not upgrade because of low disk space.
Currently the SEPM does not check, it will attempt to upgrade the client, and if it runs out of space on the reboot we see Registry corruption & inability for the endpoint to obtain an IP. Causing us to have to get to the device manually, uninstall the client, or run cleanwipe, reboot & then fix the space issues before reinstalling the client.
If the SEPM allowed for a user defined min drive free space condition that the SEPM checks for BEFORE it tries to install that would save EVERYONE a lot of heart ache.
