The SMC service currently allows "smc -stop" and "smc -start". Why not add "smc -restart" for those instances when you just need to restart the smc service? (ex. when you enable sylink debugging)
It would be much faster to run "smc -restart" instead of typing "smc -stop"...wait 10 seconds...type "smc -start". It would also be helpful to have this when administering remote machines via scripting.
