When Norton requests approval to unlock, it displays a location on the phone. However, this location is invariably wrong and too generic to be useful. For example, it often gives the name of a large city that is 200 miles away, presumably because this is where the broadband data connections are based. Whilst most circumstances mean that the unlock approval would be shown immediately after an action I've taken, this isn't always the case. For example, if I'm away and my computer has automatically restarted for some reason, it sends a new request. In any event, it is disconcerting to be asked to approve permission for a location that is incorrect. It would be far more useful to display the IP address (or, at least, to have the option to choose to display the IP address) rather than location. That IP address could be displayed on both the requesting device and the phone, to give full reassurance that the request is valid and has not been faked.
