Provide the ability to whitelist vulnerability scanners from IPS

Every time we run a vulnerability scan, Symantec dumps 100s of alerts into our mailboxes due to its detection of the scanners activities. According to support, we have no options to whitelist the security scanner. This, you might imagine SUCKS.
