Advanced Threat Protection queing system

I recently deployed ATP on my VM and was amazed at how much resource this required. The resource required 48GB RAM and 12 CPU's, this to me seemed to be way over the top until I started looking at which services were being ran.

I noticed that once of the services was RabbitMQ, in my experience this is a really poor queuing system that is not only resource heavy but also prone to breaking quite easily. A good alternative to RabbitMQ would be Reddis.

Does anyone else agree that a system designed to protect your organisation should not be using a system like RabbitMQ?

Thoughts please, and Symantec please don't use RabbitMQ in anymore products!
