Request for adding an option to truncate syslog to less 1024 bytes

Request for adding an option to truncate syslog to less 1024 bytes

Customer is using a syslog server to collect logs from SEPM. but customer's 
syslog server does not support the log that contains more that 1024 bytes log and 
sometimes SEPM will send such log to syslog server. 

Can we add an option to truncate log to less 1024 bytes like MSG product.

I searched on internet RFCs below mentioned as below.

"RAW Profile Message Syntax........but each syslog event message body length MUST 
be 1024 bytes or less, excluding BEEP framing overhead."
