In SEP 14 there are now 3 types of SEP install, Standard, Embedded or VDI & Dark net. Which now makes you have to know what machines you have on the network and distribute a client accordingly. In some cases where you only monitor the estate and the packages are distributed by deskside teams you don't always know what machines these are being installed on or can control it.
Surely there should be some sort of smart client install that can check the type of machine it is being installed on and install the relevent client? e.g. the install checks for internet connection and if it can establish a connection installs the standard for cloud downloads, or if the machine has no internet access installs the dark net client etc.
