If a VDI machine is non-persistent, this means they will default back to their original state when the user logs off. So there are issues with AV consistently being out of date and catching up to its current state. There is a Symantec article discussing how to manually update the definitions on the base image weekly; however, I wanted to see if there is a possibility to have some sort of future feature to update the definitions instead of having to do it manually each week.
