Delivery Failure Reason: 554 5.4.7 [internal] exceeded max time without delivery

Dear Sir/Mam,

I have a recent case where I sent an email to a non valid email address but only receive the delivery failure after 1 week. This was a very important email and I did not know that the email failed to until 1 week later. Is it possible to shorten the retry time to maybe max 3 hours? After least i will know that the email has failed within the same day rather than 1 week later. Anyway i have paste the return delivery failure below and that email was indeed from symantec. Therefore, im quite sure that symantec can do something about this.
