Dear Symantec Support.
I know that this topic is already discussed over years and still not seeing any feature updation on Symantec End Point Protection
We know that Symantec file system auto protect is capable of defusing USB threats.
But in reality, system will get affected with virus or trojans, as soon as a user opens a pendrive. It may write their code many places , where it is access in the system even in the core.
Some virus found are capable of disabling Symantec from its operation and it will become too difficult to disinfect the PC. even there is no halmfull file is found in a full scan, what is the surety that there is no infection present in the dis-infected system.
So our suggestion is Symantec should start automatic scanning as soon an it insert on a machine, before the user opens it.
This will help all IT admis to relax and concentrate their valuble time for something productive
