Hello All,
Many large organisations use Symantec Endpoint Protection and Blue Coat Proxy. Those using Blue Coat Proxy also make use of Blue Coat ProxyClient - a client-based solution to enforce the same policies while away from corporate network (home or travel).
With endpoint protection given utmost importance, enterprises end up installing multiple endpoint security solutions like Antivirus, DLP, HIPS, NAC, Blue Coat ProxyClient, etc.
Other than endpoint security solutions, there could be other endpoint software like Microsoft SCCM for software management and NexThink for network-traffic insight.
Given the number of endpoint agents on each of the 100s of 1000s of corporate endpoints, deployment, management, & tracking become extremely difficult.
Wouldn't it be nice and wise to incorporate the functionalities of Blue Coat ProxyClient into the SEP Client?
Best Regards,
Jimmy
