SEP 14 has the API functionality to manage the SEP clients using our in-house application however deleting the hostname is not available. Currently we can delete the clients in the SEPM console however it is very difficult while deleting huge stale clients by manually and need more resource involvement when clients presents in multiple or different groups. So I am suggesting to include delete option as well in the API and it will help to search the multiple clients and delete it.
