Dears,
we faced an issue with redhat installed on IBM power machine, as we all know the redhat for IBM power machine is different from other machines since hte kernal version will have ppc64
for the attached image I put a snap shot for a part of installtion script that is checking for the platform if it is 64-bit, actullay the command for check will not give the correct result since as shown in the below command which is the "uname -a" that the kernal version is different from the one the script is searching for, although the CPU for the IBM machine is 64-bit architecture.
Also for the packages that are prerequisites for installation of Symantec Endpoint Protection when the script runs, but as shown also in the same screen shot that the package is installed.
in the screen show named "redhat" shows the available versions to download and it shows that there is a specific version for power machine.
Please consider to update some packages specially for IBM power machine, since there might be customers as us having the same issue.
