Infected HDD Scan with SEP and Malwarebytes

I ran a scan on a supposedly infected HDD with Symantec Endpoint Protection but SEP wasn't able to detect any threat. When I ran Malwarebytes, it caught 4 threats. I was told by Symantec that SEP was only capable of detecting executables and not registry keys.
